Terms

Who we are

Parcel is run by Ioseb Katsitadze, 47 Politkovskaia Street, Tbilisi 0169, Georgia (“we”). By packing or sending a parcel, or opening or replying to one, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Parcel.

The service

Parcel lets you pack digital items (a letter, photos, a scratch card, vouchers, music links, a voice message, a time capsule, a return envelope) into a parcel and send a private link to one person. There are no accounts: whoever has a parcel's link can open it, and whoever has the sender's receipt link can read the reply.

You must be at least 16 years old to send a parcel.

What you can send

Only send things you have the right to share. Don't use Parcel to send, or reply with, anything that:

  • harasses, threatens, bullies or intimidates someone;
  • is sexual and shared without the other person's consent, or involves anyone under 18 in any way;
  • is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone;
  • infringes someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights;
  • is otherwise illegal where you or the recipient live.

Voucher images (QR codes, gift cards) are passed on as you upload them. We don't check that they're valid, and we can't restore a voucher once it's been used.

Reports and removal

Use “Report this parcel” at the end of a parcel, or “Report this reply” on a receipt. We may remove a parcel or reply, early and without notice, if it breaks these terms or the law, and we may refuse service to anyone who does.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you send. You give us permission to store it, convert it (for example, photos to WebP with location data removed) and show it to whoever has the link, only to run Parcel and only for as long as the parcel is kept. The same applies to replies.

Payment and refunds

Sending a parcel with free items costs nothing. Premium items and scheduled delivery cost a one-time $5.00 per parcel. There is no subscription. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the unlock as merchant of record and adds any sales tax or VAT that applies; their terms cover the payment itself.

If something went wrong, ask for a refund at joseph.katsitadze@gmail.com within 14 days of paying, with the parcel's tracking number. We refund in full if the parcel hasn't been opened yet, or if it didn't work as described.

Links, locks and timing

  • Keep links private. Anyone you forward a parcel link to can open it.
  • If the recipient can't answer a checkpoint or seal question and skipping is turned off, what's behind it stays locked. We can't reveal answers or unlock it for you.
  • Scheduled deliveries and time capsules open at the time shown, measured by our server's clock, not the device's.
  • Parcels are deleted 90 days after sending, or 90 days after a later delivery or capsule date, along with their replies. Deleted parcels can't be recovered, so save anything you want to keep.

Other services

Music links play through Spotify or Apple Music, under their own terms. We don't host the music and can't guarantee a track stays available.

No guarantees

We work to keep Parcel running and your parcels safe, but it's provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any parcel is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to parcels sent after that date. These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Questions: joseph.katsitadze@gmail.com.
